A project is only as fruitful as the effort put into the result. I was the primary researcher and put in a majority of the effort to complete and record our findings. Here is the collage of images from experiments and presentations as I tackle the first of many problems in my field.

Project Pitch Challenge
For the first time ever, the UCI Undergraduate Research Opportunities Program decided to split the Spring Symposium into a two-day event. For Day 1, they hosted the Project Pitch Challenge, a competition in explaining research to others in a clear and concise way. There were two categories: Insights and Innovations. Winners were decided within their categories, and top three would be receive a cash prize. This was for fun, and for nothing else but for the glory of research.
After being approved to participate, I was given two weeks to record and send a video on Zoom for a preliminary round of judging. When I heard that I passed the prelims, I was excited and nervous. Seven other competitors also made it to the finalist round, and would compete against me for a cash prize. Four judges, three minutes, two weeks to prepare, and one chance to do it right.
After many nights of refining my presentation, I officially placed in second and winning a cash prize of $250!
The video I submitted for the preliminary round is featured below.
